| We have a variety of driving horses and driving ponies for you to learn with. All well schooled ridden and driven and used to beginners as well as the more experienced and if you progress well you may be able to take one to a show or competition, or if you have you own we can help with that.
Carriage driving lessons include theory, harnessing up, fitting of harness and vehicles, what to buy and what to avoid. If you are going to get your own turnout or if you want to drive ours, we aim to have fun!
Make a holiday of it and stay in one of our recommended B&B either next door to the farm or by one of the beautiful beaches around Glorious Gower.
Introducing the driving ponies
and horses |
Menai Chocolate
The oldest and most experienced driving pony. Chocky is 24
this year and still fighting fit and ready to go, he is
12.3hh although he pretends to be 13hh. He was named
Chocolate because of his beautiful chocolate colour. he
has competed for the first time with Angharad recently
in junior driving class having been driven by Tamara for
the last two years where he was the fastest and seemed to win every time out. Definitely mums favourite of all time. |
