| We have a variety of driving horses and driving ponies for you to learn with. All well schooled ridden and driven and used to beginners as well as the more experienced and if you progress well you may be able to take one to a show or competition, or if you have you own we can help with that.
Carriage driving lessons include theory, harnessing up, fitting of harness and vehicles, what to buy and what to avoid. If you are going to get your own turnout or if you want to drive ours, we aim to have fun!
Make a holiday of it and stay in one of our recommended B&B either next door to the farm or by one of the beautiful beaches around Glorious Gower.
Introducing the driving ponies |
Menai Chocolate
The oldest and most experienced driving pony. Chocky is 23 this year and still fighting fit and ready to go, he is 12.3hh although he pretends to be 13hh. He was named Chocolate because of his beautiful chocolate colour. At present he competes with Tamara in junior driving classes and is the fastest and seems to win every time out. Definitely mums favourite of all time. |

Wynswood Touch of Silver, Merlin to his friends
He pairs up with Sox same age and height as you can see from the photos Merlin came to us to be sold, but went in pair with Chocky first and those two together were the fastest on the marathon nationally, great fun to drive! |
