Reviews

Excellent training

I have had an outstanding four days training with Rowena Moyse at the South Wales Carriage Driving Centre. Rowena is an inspiring teacher, encouraging me to achieve far more than I expected.
Over four days I have driven 3 different pairs of ponies several times and a single pony. I have also been on the back of the carriage to watch 3 different pairs in training.
The excellent facilities meant that I was able to drive cones and obstacles on flat fields and schooling areas and also try more challenging tracks. I was also able to drive out on quiet roads and tracks. With this variety of experience it was clearly possible to see my development over four days.
Rowena and her team are friendly and encouraging and did everything they could to make sure I had a good experience.

Carriage lesson
A day i wont forget in a hurry it was very different from the start to the end. we learnt how to harness up and then we had a drive and held the reins(all be it with dual controls) they then took us out in the beautiful Gower countryside for a drive with a pair of horses before giving us a light lunch out in the sunshine, then we had another go at driving and before we knew it it was time to go but we will be back. would highly recommend a day of driving to anyone who likes horses its great fun.
